Using LetsEncrypt on an ESXi VPS

Published by Matthew on

Recently I decided to move my servers to a new VPS hosted by online.net. It is running ESXi Hyper Visor and using failover IP address I am able to run all the servers I need.

Even though I have the ports locked down in the firewall to my IP, I wanted to secure it with a signed SSL Certificate.

Here is a guide that will take you through the steps to get this working – https://wiki.comprofix.com/index.php?title=Let%27s_Encrypt_ESXi_VPS

Currently this is a manual process. Hopefully with a little more time and testing I can get this automated. Stay tuned!
